Padres y Jóvenes Unidos (PJU)

DENVER, CO

Padres & Jóvenes Unidos is a racial justice organization led by working-class LatinX immigrants, youth and families, that builds power through community organizing, leadership development and civic engagement.

Vision
Padres & Jóvenes Unidos (PJU) is building a movement to dismantle the root cause of systemic discrimination, racism, economic inequality, and institutional injustice. We will build collective power where working-class Latinx immigrants, youth and families in alignment with other impacted folks will create a new society that is led by those who are directly impacted by all forms of injustices.

“Being a youth member of Padres & Jóvenes Unidos has taught me that things will not change if you do not speak up and take action. As a student and a person, I have more confidence and understand the importance of working with my peers towards a common goal."
