Advancing policy, systems, practice and environment change is necessary for health justice and racial equity. In our upcoming interactive webinar, The Praxis Project is proud to provide the context for our recently-released brief “Community Centered Health Justice and Racial Equity: Organic Efforts Towards Health Equity-Driven Policy and Practice,” which highlights the vast efforts to improve community health and wellness led by our partners that are organizing across the United States. The purpose of the report and this webinar is to inform public health practice efforts in engaging community organizers to advance policy change.
Join this webinar for:
An overview and context of the Praxis Project’s work with grassroots organizers
Summary of community-led policy priorities across the social determinants of health
Examples of equity-driven policy and practice change
Discussion on how public health professionals can incorporate these learnings into our work.
