From the inequitable impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic to fires ravaging the West Coast, from migrant children being forcibly separated from their parents at the border to continued police violence against the Black community, we have witnessed an array of disasters in the last year and beyond.Over six months in 2020, The Praxis Project, Living Hope Wheelchair Association, and Unitarian Universalist Service Committee convened a Learning Circle cohort of community organizers to develop a disaster justice framework from a racial justice perspective. Join us for our webinar on Thursday, May 6, 2021 to learn more about this framework!

We have a historic chance for Congress to pass a transformational economic recovery and infrastructure package that puts 15 million people to work in good, union, family sustaining jobs, cuts climate pollution in half by 2030, and advances racial, Indigenous, gender, environmental, and economic justice.

The Gathering for Justice Community Relief Fund supports 501c3 organizations providing direct services to California youth released from a Juvenile Detention center/Youth Prison/Camp, systems-impacted or formerly incarcerated young people and families (up to $5k grants). Apply by May 2021. Learn more.
RWJF's Health Equity Scholars for Action fund support the professional development and career advancement of historically underrepresented researchers (grants up to $250k for projects). Applications due June 16, 2021. Learn more.
The Consumer Health Foundation's Community Power grantmaking programsupports organizations that are committed to racial equity and are operationalizing it, undertaking community organizing or community engagement, and undertaking advocacy in the greater Washington D.C. area (grants between $15-$20k). Applications due July 16, 2021. Learn more.
Community Catalyst Vaccine Equity and Access Program supports community-based organizations led by and working with people of color to facilitate information about, and access to, vaccines as part of a broader effort to reduce vaccination disparities, specifically in influenza and COVID-19 vaccination rates ($100k for 12-month projects).
